November saw our 5th transnational project meeting hosted by IUT Lumière Lyon 2. No one wanted to miss the chance to meet and percolate new ideas, nor to miss out on French gastronomy. We held the first day at the IUT, on the Porte des Alpes campus, where Claudine Gay, Dean of IUT Lumière Lyon 2, warmly welcomed the Consortium to Lyon, offering an introduction to both the University of Lumière Lyon 2 and the city of Lyon.

The whole meeting was timely managed by Matilde Valcavi (CIS), project manager of the DIG.INT project. After reviewing the outline of online modules at our last meeting in Eindhoven, we all finished designing our respective modules for trainers and teachers, for VET managers and for regional officers. We were now ready to dive into the technicalities of the online platform that our partners from National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest have developed so Gabriel Dima presented an overview of the platform and its functionalities, showcasing the first training path for teachers and trainers.
Assessment and follow-up on these learning paths were discussed, we continued by discussing the piloting phase of the learning paths, aimed at testing and validating modules for each target group and the DIGINT online platform.
Enzo Faloci (SFC) led a brainstorming session on strategies to develop long-term institutional cooperation. We then tackled another workpackage to analyse how VET and HVET systems can align with these strategies to foster collaboration between regional stakeholders, policy makers, and economic ecosystems.
In the evening, the whole group took a guided tour of the old part of the city.
On the second day, Claudio Dondi (CIS) presented the project to local stakeholders from Formasup and members of staff from the ULL International Relations Office, led by Thomas Guillobez in order to gage ULL’s internationalization strategy and the connections and prospects Formasup is trying to develop for the internationalization of apprentices by keeping watch on regional orientations and European laws.
